Hello! My name is Laura and I am a stay-at-home-mom just getting back into the workforce! I've had a lifetime of experience with cat and dog guardianship. In 2025, I started doing drop in visits for a friend's senior dog and enjoyed it so much I now have multiple local clients I walk and visit regularly. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior cats/dogs, anxious cats/dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs of all sizes. I am not a trainer but I have worked with certified AnimalKind trainers with my own dogs, and am familiar with common training practices. I can follow your training procedures while I'm with your dog! I've provided life long care and end of life care to 4 senior pets. This included giving subcutaneous fluids to a senior cat and giving multiple medications and specialized foods to both cats and dogs. I also have my animal first aid certificate through Red Cross.

Our current dog is anxious and reactive. At 55 pounds she can be a handful while on walks. I have special routes I take which limit her interaction with others and keep her below threshold. I also have high traffic walking routes I frequent with my social clients who love to say hello to everyone they meet.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura. She has been helping us with afternoon home visits to our almost 14 year old dog for over a year and a half, and she is incredible. Our boy absolutely adores her. She is patient, kind, gentle, and encouraging. She takes the time to make sure he has ample time to roam outside and also time to rest when he’s tired. She is an excellent communicator, reliable, and sends updates during and after her visits. I don’t know what we would do without her!!

Schedule
As a dog guardian, I know how important it is to have a routine. My schedule is flexible and I am usually able to accommodate the needs of my clients and their pets.

- I have experience with my own reactive and anxious dog. I can adjust the areas that I walk in according to your dog's needs and preferences. I have experience using a muzzle, no pull harnesses, and halti attachments.
