With over 40 years of experience caring for all animals large and small, I provide mindful, compassionate pet sitting in the comfort of your home. I also provide entire ranch sitting for you, all within a 10-mile radius of Sorrento, FL. My background includes training unbroken colts to calming nervous pups, where I bring a calm, intuitive presence and decades of hands-on care tailored to each animal’s unique personality and needs. Your dogs and cats remain relaxed in their familiar environment while receiving attentive, professional care. I’m a Certified Equine Mindfulness Facilitator, a Reiki Master (specializing in Animal Reiki), and a former Veterinary Assistant at the Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital. I also hold a B.S. in Wildlife Biology, a Master's in Biology, am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). I started off volunteering at the Humane Society with dogs and cats for 2 years in San Diego when I was a 11 years old, and since then I have gone on to train dogs and horses while bringing both an animal and human medical knowledge to my work. I specialize in caring for your dog and cat with integrity, patience, and a deep love for all creatures. I’m reliable, I show up when I am supposed to and on time, I take photographs and videos of your pet to send to you to give daily updates, I am detail-oriented, I have a medical background, and am committed to your animals’ safety, happiness, and well-being. In short: I am here to give you peace of mind while you travel.

Schedule
I am available to pet sit in the comfort of your home in the Sorrento, Eustis, Tavares, and Mount Dora and surrounding areas. I work from home M-F, and my life revolves around my horses and dogs, so I am up before dawn to turn them out and get all the animals settled. I prefer to look after your pets in your own home, because that is where your dog or cat is most comfortable. However I can take care of 1-2 well behaved and well-socialized dogs here at my ranch as well. I understand that your pets are your babies, it is a huge responsibility, so I want to dedicate proper time to your pets to make sure they are happy.

Safety, trust & environment
If boarding with us, your dog will be able to play in a 2500 sq foot purpose-built sand and grass "Bark Park" which we created for our own dogs. The Bark Park has a large dog house, Southern wrap around porch, and working door bell (dogs love it!). We also have a paddle pool and a water fountain in the bark park and also the regular pool to play in. If it is over 88 degrees, dogs are inside the house in air conditioning. Because of the limited numbers of dogs I take at any time, I am also very happy to pet sit in your home for dogs and cats. I also ranch sit.
Pets
A typical day
We have a ball machine that spits out tennis balls, our dogs play in the pool, and we have a "puppy pool" for them to lounge in. Everything we do here revolves around temperature: Oct-May everyone is outdoors more playing when the temps are lovely, but in summer we tend to be in air conditioning! We have TONS of balls and toys to play with, and tons of dog beds. Squirrel TV is a favorite at our ranch.
