Retired couple who love animals
We lost our last “golden”nearly two years ago and miss having a furry friend in the house. We’re not ready for another animal of our own just yet, but we’d love to care for your pet in our home. One of us is usually home, we have a fenced in back yard in downtown Hendersonville, and love to take walks in the woods and local parks. We both have hatchback cars for safe transport. Since we never had children, we always treated our animals as part of the family, so yours will get plenty of love and attention while you are away. My husband Bill likes animals better than most people! When we had pets, the hardest part was leaving without them. So we want to help others.

Absolutely the best! Lucy is well taken care of and pampered. She never wants to leave Laura and Bill when we go to pick her up. Highly recommend! Laura and Bill is like having an extended family care for Lucy!

As always Bill and Laura provide loving care for Lucy. They send us frequent pictures of her taking over their home. Lucy loves it there and didn’t want to leave when we went to pick her up! They are excellent sitters and we couldn’t be more pleased with their services. It’s more like a second home for Lucy and we highly recommend them!!!!

Our senior dog Ted had a great stay with Laura and William. They sent us updates and took great care of him. He came home happy and relaxed.

We are both retired so we have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets. They quickly become part of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard and weather permitting the door is left open so your pet can come and go as desired. We find most dogs like to be with us when we are gardening in the yard and in the house when we are...especially when I am cooking!
A typical day
We like to take walks in the neighborhood and for those who enjoy running and other dogs, we go to Jackson Dog Park....or just exploring the woods.
