Information Laura W. would like to know about your pet

Anything I need to be aware of beforehand? Energetic? Prefers a good snooze? Special needs? Please do let me know. Our previous dog, Dexter, lived a grand old life. We cared for him in his autumnal years, so we are well-versed in administering a variety of oral and injectible medications.

A typical day

Early morning walk through the park/ nature reserve, playing fetch. Back home for a chew stick and a snooze. Patio doors left open to come and go. Shorter walk mid/ late afternoon before dinner time.

Pet care experience

I absolutely adore all animals- especially dogs- and I am passionate about their welfare. My husband and I have cared for dogs for over ten years now, as well as cats, turtles and fish. I am DBS checked and certified in canine first aid. As a pet owner myself, I fully understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your precious little fur baby; rest assured they will be treated as one of my own here. Lots of love and dedicated attention in a peaceful, rural environment.

As usual brilliant, loving care given to our dog. He's always happy to go in to meet Laura and Stitch. Using her again in July.

This is the first time we have left Candy with a pet sitter, so we were a little anxious. We met Laura for a short visit before her stay, and were immediately put at our ease. Candy took to Laura immediately and to Laura’s dog Stitch! Laura sent regular photos and videos while we were away which helped to reassure us that Candy was having a good time. My son collected Candy and he wasn’t sure that she wanted to come home! I would definitely leave Candy with Laura again! Thank you Laura and Stitch! X

Absolute lifesaver! I was let down at the last minute for my son's wedding and Laura saved the day. I received updated info and photos during the weekend which put our minds at rest. He was treated like a prince and loved his new found friend, (her dog). I am using her again in July knowing that he will be very, very well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate recommending her to anyone.
