I have been a professional pet sitter for many years now, in Nashville and in Santa Rosa Beach area. I also currently both work and volunteer at Alaqua Animal Refuge, so animal care and welfare is an integral part of my daily living. As a lifelong animal lover and single mother of 9, house sitting and pet care is something I really enjoy doing. Animals are so naturally loving to us, that it's very fulfilling to give that love and attention back to them. I personally have a Brittany Spaniel named Goose and an Australian Shepherd mix named Maverick currently, but have also had many other pets throughout my life. I can provide references if needed as well. I pledge to care for and nurture your animals and your home as if they were my own. Our fur babies are truly part of our families, and it’s important to me that you feel comfortable being away for work or travel, knowing that your pets are in a safe, loving environment while you are gone.

Caregiving and nurturing is my natural way of being. Animals love and trust so fully and openly, and deserve the same in return. It can be unsettling for them to have the family away, so my goal is to decrease their anxiety with lots of attention and affection.

I could tell when I walked in the door that Zoe and Pickles had been well taken care of and loved!! Not an anxious bone in either of them - haha! Laura is a great person as well - best sitter I've had thru Rover.

Exceptional! She made it feel like a real vacation. We knew the pups were in great hands and she only contacted us the first 24 hours to ask any questions. She sent updates and pictures while we were away. It was such a comforting feeling to have her. Laura is a real pro. Can't wait to go away again!

Schedule
I work part time so have a mostly flexible at-home schedule, so pet care is very compatible with that. I will generally stay the night at your home, then return for several drop- in visits throughout the day.
