As a student in a veterinary technology program, animal care is already a central part of my life, and I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time and flexibility for pets in my care. This allows me to be reliable and attentive with dog walks, drop-in visits, and care while owners are away, without rushing or cutting corners. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs, including consistent feeding times, exercise, enrichment, and observation. Because of this, I’m able to provide dependable, focused care and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I also take great pride in taking pictures and updates of the animals in my care. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on providing a safe, structured, and comfortable environment that meets each pet’s individual needs. I live in an apartment but am surrounded by nature trails, which allows for plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation through regular walks and outdoor time. In my home, pets have designated, secure areas for rest, feeding, and play, and I carefully manage space to prevent stress or unsafe interactions. I do not have any permanent animals in my residence, which allows me to fully focus on the pets in my care, though I do foster puppies occasionally with proper separation and supervision. Safety is always a top priority—I follow secure leash practices, maintain a clean environment, monitor behavior closely, and strictly follow owner instructions to ensure every pet feels protected, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

This includes things like nervousness around other animals, reactivity, separation anxiety, or special preferences for walks, play, or handling. Knowing these details ahead of time allows me to create a safe, comfortable, and tailored experience for your pet, ensure their routines are maintained, and address any health or behavioral needs quickly and appropriately. A typical day
A typical day with dogs in my care is active, structured, and focused on both physical and mental enrichment. Because I’m currently in school, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around each dog’s needs, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. I enjoy keeping dogs engaged through exercise, enrichment activities, and positive interaction, adjusting the level of activity based on age, energy level, and comfort. I’m located very close to Horsetooth Reservoir, with access to numerous hiking paths and nature trails, which provides great opportunities for safe, stimulating walks and outdoor exploration. Throughout the day, I prioritize supervision, routine, and safety while making sure every dog gets plenty of attention, activity, and downtime so they feel happy, balanced, and well cared for.
