I am happy to cater to your furry friend's needs; whether it be sitting on the couch watching TV with them, meeting before to soothe their anxiety, extra playtime, medication, or special care instructions, I am glad to provide them the attention they need. I can walk your pet as needed while I am there, especially puppies, who are working on their housetraining. I expect to have a safe and clean place to eat and sleep. I like to leave your home the same or better than I found it.

I like to meet your pets beforehand so we are all comfortable with each other. It's also good to know their usual routine, if they have any allergies, fears, quirks, or favorite things.
A typical day
I adjust my sitting days depending on your pet's individual schedule and needs. I have watched high energy dogs where this meant more, longer walks and play time and older dogs with separation anxiety, where this means just being present and telling them they're the best dog while they sleep next to me most of the day. Depending on how long I stay, your dog's needs, mood, and temperament, weather, and your comfort, I am happy to take them on small hikes, trips to pet stores, drives, or even dog parks. I want to make them as comfortable as possible and love them as my own. Regardless, I like to keep you updated with pictures and blurbs about how your friend is doing.

Pet care experience
I am a graduate student and live with my dogs, cat, turtle, and conures. I have personal, as well as professional, experience with a variety of animals including fish, cats, dogs, birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and more! From petsitting, to rescue and shelter work, to hospital work, to working at an AZA accredited facility, to having my own animal companions, I have been exposed to a variety of species of all sizes and needs.
