Hi there! My name is Laura and I would be delighted to care for and love your cat! I have extensive background working with kittens and cats. I volunteered in a kitten nursery from 2017 - 2021 and have fostered nearly 50 kittens and cats, including neonatal kittens requiring bottle feeding. I also have experience socializing shy/skittish cats and can administer medicines (oral pills/liquids, eye drops, ear drops, and transdermal ointments.) I’m happy to help care for cats with long-term conditions or special needs. They have a special place in my heart and I understand their unique needs, as well as the emotional impact a medical condition can have on you as a pet parent. My husband and I cared for our sweet, senior kitty Louie for over a year and a half after he was diagnosed with lymphoma, so I also have experience administering oral chemotherapy. I am currently mom to a pair of goofy orange cats, Cosmo and Dewey! They are a father-son duo with one combined brain cell, but the biggest hearts in the world. Things to expect when booking a drop in with me: -Complimentary meet and greet -Excellent communication and responsiveness -Photos, videos, and a message summarizing our visit -Feeding, changing water, and cleaning litter -Playtime and/or cuddles, depending on your cat’s wishes!

Safety, trust & environment
I will care for your cat and home as if they are my own! I am cautious about kitty escape artists and am careful when entering/existing your home. I also triple check that all doors are locked before leaving. Additionally, I clean pet-related dishes, take out trash, and bring in mail and packages.

Laura took such amazing care of our cats while we were away. Laura is the BEST! She provides great written updates after each visit and amazing photos:) I left my 15 year old cat with her recently for a long 10-day trip; since my cat is old, he requires medications and food modifications x2 a day and I have complete trust in Laura with that. My cat is always very happy when I’m back and does look worse for the wear all thanks to Laura’s care. She is really the best.

Schedule
I work in the non-profit sector, but am currently taking time off to act as a caregiver for a family member. As such, I have a good amount of availability and flexibility.
