I know that leaving your pets behind can be worrisome so my goal is to give you the peace of mind you need in order to enjoy your time away! I will send as many photos and updates as you can stand and you can text me anytime. I've been an animal lover since I was little and now that the human kids are gone, the pets have become my fur kids! I've also been volunteering at local shelters (Sacramento City, Elk Grove, Sacramento SPCA) as a dog walker/cat socializer and foster parent for the last 20+ years. All of our pets have been rescues so I definitely have a soft spot for them. I feel comfortable with all breeds and can handle most behavioral issues and even help with training/correcting if you'd like. I am also experienced with giving medications.

I've lived in Elk Grove for over 30 years so am familiar with the local parks and dog parks, veterinary facilities and animal shelters. For home visits, in addition to feeding and watering I can walk your dog, take them to the park, or just play in the back yard and even help with training. I will also clean up after them if needed. For cats I will feed, water, brush, play, clean litter boxes, etc. Just let me know what you would like me to do and I will do it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience and would absolutely book Laura again! She did drop-in visits for my three dogs over four days and did an excellent job. I received lots of photos and updates, which really put me at ease while I was away. She made me feel completely comfortable trusting her with my dogs and my home. My dogs were well cared for, happy, and clearly loved during each visit. I’m very grateful and highly recommend Lauea to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
It was great to have Laura drop-in to check on my cats while we were away for the weekend. She's very easy to communicate with and I feel very safe having her care for them. We have booked with her before and the cats are very comfortable with her. I highly recommend her to others.
Laura is amazing! Sent us pics and videos while we were away of our kitties and meet all their needs. Gave us a sigh of relief to have her tending to them and care for them. She’s very flexible and such a kind lady. We would definitely reach out to her again in the future.

I was impressed with the reviews Laura received and am happy to add to them. She did three days of drop-in visits for our senior dog, Barkley, and throughout our whole time away, she made us feel like he was in good hands. She was communicative before, during, and after the assignment, sending us photos, videos, and updates on what he was up to. She was timely, showing up as promised. We never felt that he was alone. And she was caring, making sure he felt comfortable with her as she fed him, gave him his meds and cleaned up after him when he had an accident. I'd be happy to book with her again!

Programa
I'm an empty nester and work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am fine with a set schedule or an on-call, as-needed basis and can usually accommodate last minute requests.
