Hi there! I'm an analyst for an environmental consulting company, and I work from home with flexible hours. I love a break from work walking mine (or your) dogs anytime during the day. I'm a HUGE dog and cat lover, and have one of each of my own. Big pups have my heart, as my own is a St. Bernard + Husky - but I've grown up with Shih-Tzus, Dachshunds, Scotties, Labradors, and Australian Shepherds as family pets. All have been in puppy training class, so I know how to deal with any difficulties that may arise in behaviour. Not to mention I volunteered as an SPCA Dog Walker for over a year - so I've seen it all, trust me. I am ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS responsive, and if you book with me - you'll get as many text and photo updates as you'd like during your pet's stay/walk/visit. Laura is super personable and easy to communicate for me which are very important qualities I look for in a sitter! Her and my cat go along very well and I enjoyed the photos recived while I was away. I can tell my pet was well cared for. Will be repeating with Laura in the future.
Laura was great! After returning from travel and under strict quarantine, Laura saved the day. I have two senior pups who require three walks a day, but Laura showed up rain or shine to take them out for two weeks. Both dogs walked right off with her without hesitation (they usually don't warm up that quicky); that's a testament to her calm and kind energy. I would highly recommend Laura for any of your pup's needs!!

I have hired Laura as both a dog walker and sitter and have nothing but wonderful things to say. I have a very large, high energy dog that can be a lot to handle, but Laura puts my mind at ease knowing she is in good hands. Laura is always reliable, responsible, and easy to talk to if I ever have any questions. My dog is always so excited to see her and loves her walks and company. 10/10 would recommend!

A typical day
I live in an apartment with my fiancee, our dog Otter, and our cat Nimbus. We live on the third floor with a large balcony, and we are also fortunate enough to have a nice little fenced in backyard area on the main floor (quite large) where pups can roam. 10 minutes gets you to Lost Lagoon / Stanley Park / Sunset Beach for more awesome walking routes. I am a huge hiker/camper/outdoors lover - and we go on 1-2 hikes per week to Seymour Mountain (Dog Mountain Trail or Mystery Lake). I also like taking the dogs to Pacific Spirit Park, the Kits Dog Beach, or the Jericho Beach Dog Area. If your pup is good in the car and loves adventure, we can definitely plan something that'll get them absolutely pooched.
