Welcome! Hi! I'm Laura, and I'd love to care for your dog like they're part of the family. My home features a large, fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to run, play, sniff, and burn off energy in a safe environment. Your pup will also have the opportunity to socialize with my two friendly Old English Sheepdogs. I believe every dog deserves individual attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay. Meet My Dogs 🐾 Remy (5 years old) Remy is my energetic male Old English Sheepdog. He absolutely loves meeting new people and dogs! During introductions he can get very excited, which means he may bark and pull on the leash at first. Once he's had a chance to say hello, he settles down nicely and is eager to make a new friend. 🐾 Sylvie (8 years old) Sylvie is my sweet female Old English Sheepdog who loves people. She can sometimes experience a little social anxiety when meeting unfamiliar dogs, so I always make introductions carefully. She is also afraid of children (we're actively working on building her confidence), so I ask that children give her plenty of respectful space during meet and greets. Meet & Greets I highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet before your dog's first stay. This gives everyone a chance to get acquainted, ensures your dog is comfortable with my home and dogs, and helps make the boarding experience as stress-free as possible. A note about independence: I love spending time with my guest dogs and giving them plenty of affection, playtime, and attention throughout their stay. However, I’m best suited for dogs who can also settle and relax independently. I work from home and need to be able to sleep, work, cook, and take care of things around the house without a dog continuously demanding attention, whining, barking for attention, pawing at me, or needing to follow me from room to room at all times. If your dog is a “Velcro dog” who becomes distressed or persistently vocal when they aren’t receiving direct attention, my home probably won’t be the best fit. Dogs should be comfortable relaxing on their own for periods of time while I’m elsewhere in the house. Of course, they’ll still receive lots of love and attention throughout their stay. I just need my four-legged guests to understand that sometimes it’s independent relaxation time. Late Drop-off & Pick-up Policy: A 30-minute grace period is provided. Drop-offs or pick-ups more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time will incur a $25 late fee for each hour or portion of an hour. Please notify me as soon as possible if you're running late. Optional Grooming & Care Add-Ons If you'd like your pup to go home looking and feeling their best, I also offer these optional services: - Nail grinding: $20 per dog - Bath: Starting at $30 (price varies by coat size and length) - Teeth brushing: $10 - Ear cleaning: $15 - Dematting & brushing: $30 per hour (for heavily matted or thick-coated dogs; time varies depending on coat condition) If you have any questions about my home, my dogs, or your dog's stay, feel free to reach out.
