Laura can care for
Availability
I love that this is currently my full-time job. I get to meet so many cool pet owners and their pets. Plus, I get to apply what I’m learning all the time as I’m growing my pet care business. One of my favorite things is customizing a care plan specific to your pet’s needs so they can benefit from my time with them.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pet(s) I will treat them - and your home - like they’re my own. I’m dependable, responsible, trustworthy and responsive, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your fur baby is in good hands with me.
Information Laura T. would like to know about your pet
Basically, tell me how you typically interact with your pet and what would give you peace of mind when I'm caring for them. What makes your buddy/baby unique? What are their likes/dislikes? (And what are yours? 😊) For dogs: Any precautions (don't get too close to their face, they've been known to XYZ, or whatever)? What should I know before we go for a walk (fave spots to go, places/pets to avoid, etc.)? For cats: Any precautions (they hate to be picked up, don't scratch them 'there' unless getting scratched to hell is my new thing, or whatever)?
A typical day
For dogs: we'll go for a walk, make some new friends along the way, smell all the smells, and then come home for treats and cuddles. For cats: I'll sit with them on the floor till they feel comfortable with me then we'll play with some of their favorite toys and I'll give them some snacks, scritches, and snuggles.

Pet care experience
I get such joy from animal care! I have experience befriending cats, dogs, horses, fish and even amphibians (frogs, geckos, salamanders, axolotls). I’m an avid birdwatcher so I also wouldn’t shy away from an opportunity to take care of a feathered friend. I do best with friendly dogs who are already trained (potty, leash, and behavior) and all types of cats (see Cat Care Details for more info).

Reviews

Simcha loves Laura. And she's been reliable, thoughtful, a good communicator, respectful of the space, and accommodating to last minute planning.

Laura was great with our dog, Kona. She house sat for us for 11 days and did an awesome job. She sent us pictures and kept us in the loop regarding Kona and what was happening in the neighborhood. I hope she is available in the future. Don’t hesitate to trust her with your pet!

Laura was fabulous with our sometimes anxious and guarded pup. She administered medication and was quick to respond to any messages we sent while away. We came back to a relaxed dog and clean apartment! Thanks, Laura!!

Laura is so calm around our vocal pup! Always takes time to make her feel more relaxed and comfortable. We appreciate her!!
