Hi, I'm Laura. I am a dog trainer of Accomplished Canine Dog Training I own three dogs. Avalanche: 12o Husky Mix, Yeti: 5 year old Husky, and Otis 5yo Aussie. Our dogs are rarely alone more than a few hours. We live in a house with a large fenced in backyard (about 6,000sq ft). My house is set up for dogs; all the furniture is dog-friendly and I dog-proof every time I leave. I love dogs and wish I could adopt more, but three permanent dogs is enough right now, but we would love a temporary family member! If your dog high energy? Love to chase, wrestle, play? The boys would love another friend to play with. More of a napper? Avalanche will save your pup some space on the couch. Training can be added to boarding and potentially daycare. We have a variety of dog puzzles to keep your pup mental enriched in addition to physical exercise. We also have a dog washing station and can bathe your dog prior to pick up.

A few weeks after getting a puppy, I had to go out of town due to a family emergency. I was so anxious about leaving my puppy with a stranger. So happy I found Laura, she has a lot of experience with dogs, especially puppies from being a dog trainer with Petco at the time she watched my puppy. She sent me lots of photos which helped me feel much better. She even gave my puppy a bath so she was so cleaned and smelled great when I picked her up. She has watched Daisy a few times since then, I never have to worry knowing she's in such good hands.
Laura was incredible!! She is very knowledgeable and has a genuine love for animals. Communication was a breeze; she responded quickly and always sent me pictures of my pup without being asked. Her three dogs kept my energetic husky entertained beyond belief; she had the time of her life! I would recommend Laura to anyone and I would love to have her sit for me again.
Feegle The Beagle had a great time with Laura and her 2 furbabies--he was well taken care of, and we were delighted with how smooth everything went and the great communications during the stay.
Laura has watched my two extremely-high Australian Shepherds countless times over the past year and a half since we found her. The Aussies need constant attention during trips to the park as one of them demands non-stop frisbee play and the other seems to have the ability to be in two places at once. Laura is seriously a dog-whisperer, especially in her ability to tend to a literal pack of dogs at once, handling them all with mutual respect and ease. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my two wild things with another person, as they can even be a handful for me. Laura is also extremely accommodating when I need her last minute, or when my plans have changed. Can't speak more highly of Laura (and her two sweet doggies)! If you're considering booking with her, you'll be glad you did.

Schedule
I work as a dog trainer and my dogs are rarely home alone for more than a few hours. We play with our dogs in the backyard or take them for long walks around dusk and dawn. We are well versed in the needs of young or high energy breeds.

I have a fenced-in yard, dogs eat in different rooms, have multiple crates if necessary. I am a dog trainer and have training in reading dogs' body language to know if they are feeling comfortable in a situation, I previously had a dog with epilepsy so I am used to giving pills orally on a schedule. We do not require dogs to be spayed or neutered but we do want them UTD on shots and flea/tick/heartworm meds.
Pets
A typical day
We wake up around 6 or 7 and let the dogs out to potty and run around in the backyard. They like to work up an appetite before breakfast around 9. They love to be outside as much as possible. They get dinner around 6 and love to play outside till bedtime. We typically go to bed around 10 or 11 and the dogs sleep in the bedroom or living room.
