TLDR: - I'm a lifelong pet owner - grew up with a dog, and now have a cat! - I will provide care and company to your pet so that you can have peace of mind while you're away, and so they'll be safe and entertained until you're reunited! - I have experience administering meds for cats, including pills, liquid meds via syringe, and injections, and can provide this as part of my cat sitting service if necessary. --- Hi! I'm Laura, and I live in Crown Heights with my kitty Perchik. I'm the one at parties who's on the floor playing with the dog, or off in the corner making friends with the cat. I'm a lifelong pet owner, having owned a labrador retriever for my whole childhood, and now have a one year old mischievous black cat keeping me on my toes! When I'm not out and about, I'm at home with my very energetic cat. In his short life, he has already experienced a lot of medical hardships, which has given me the skills of administering many types of cat meds, including pills, liquid meds via syringe, and injections. When your cat is in my care, I'm happy to administer meds for them if necessary. I've experienced a variety of cat personalities and I'm perceptive when it comes to sensing if an animal needs space or attention, extra relaxation measures to calm their nerves around a new person, or an abundance of exercise to get their energy out. I will meet your cat at their level and make sure they are feeling as comfortable and cared for as possible! It can be nerve-wracking to be away from your pet even for just a short time. As a Rover sitter, I will provide care and company to your pet so that you can have peace of mind, and so that they can be safe and entertained until you're reunited. 🐾

Schedule
I work from home 3/5 days a week and spend a lot of the weekend in my neighborhood, so I'd love to spend some of that time being there for your cat!
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsLaura can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- A general overview of your cat’s personality is super helpful so I can interact with them most appropriately depending on how outgoing or introverted they are. If there's any medicine that needs to be administered to cats, a heads up about tips that work when giving your pet meds would be great too (do they claw? is a certain method more effective than others? etc.).
