Hi, My name is Laura. I am a professional dog sitter. I have been in the pet business for over 7 years. I volunteered at the Jacksonville Humane Society. I volunteered there and helped to train the dogs and walk them two to three times a day. I really enjoy working with dogs of all sizes; from the little teacup chihuahua all the way up to the great danes. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. My first dog I had was when I was 10 years old. I had a Border Terrier named Fletcher. I did not have him long because he had issues with my grandmother and so she took him back to the shelter. Ever since then, I have always wanted to own dogs. I got that chance when I moved out on my own. I got one dog that was a beagle/boxer mix named Cleopatria. She was an awesome dog. But she needed a friend. So I went to the shelter and I adopted a German Shepard, named Kane. He was the love of my life for a very long time. It broke my heart when I had to move and I could not take them with me. I found great homes for them though. Now I am back out on my own and I have a cat. Meet my pets I have a cat right now. Her name is Azalea. I adopted her July 2022 at 3 months old. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medications as long as it is oral. I am not comfortable administering shots.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety that I provided is making it look as though someone is home while you are away. I take in the mail and paper. I basically move in while you are away. I live at your house when I am house sitting.
Ratings and reviews
Laura was wonderful with our Lab who has pretty considerable separation anxiety. We felt safe and comfy leaving on a long road trip knowing she was there with him, and he was happy as a clam on our return. Calm and happy-a good indication he wasn’t overstressed during our trip. She provided photos and great communication. We look forward to booking her services again!
Laura was great! She sent me regular updates and pictures of Cash, my greyhound. He was very happy and content when I got home from my trip. I will definitely have Laura come and stay with him again!
Laura did a great job with our pets. She not only sent pictures but also sent us updates. She followed all of our instructions and really tried to bond with our pets. We have her booked for future trips already!
She was an outstanding dog sitter! Very open communication, pictures and took great care of the dogs and was accommodating to us. I would rebook over and over!
