Being brought up on a farm back in the dales we always had dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, cows. I went on to work with horses and completed a national diploma in equine management. Now myself, husband and 2 children live on a farm in an absolutely beautiful part of the world on the outskirts of York. We have our own small flock of sheep, chickens, dogs and cats! Living where we do means we have plenty of outdoor space and lots of beautiful walks on our doorstep. I work 3 days a week so I am currently available Thursday, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. Please note if booking for home boarding on a Wednesday this will be from 6pm onwards due to work commitments I am unable to take in any sooner. There may be more flexibility over the summertime if required please ask. Happy to pick up and deliver back locally if this does help. Laura is lovely and has a beautiful home for the dogs to enjoy. Casper stayed with her whilst we were on holiday in the north York moors on a day when we were visiting a museum where he couldn’t join us. He clearly had a great time with her. Recommended for anyone in the York / north york area.

Harley had such a wonder time time with Laura :) It was her first time staying with somebody she didn’t know but Laura really made her feel at home. She is very friendly and we couldn’t have chosen anyone better. She enjoyed a 7 mile walk and had a great time. Would definitely stay with her again and couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
