I’ve been fostering cats for over 3 years (so far I’ve had a total of 10 cats in my care)! I’ve also babysat my friend’s dog several times (mainly overnight visits but also a couple drop-ins). My sister has a dog that I’ve also watched and spent a lot of time with. While I haven’t pulled the trigger yet and adopted a dog or cat (or both!), I truly enjoy spending time with these furry creatures. I treat your animal as if it’s my own, giving them my full attention and love

Laura took a good care of Choonsik! Choonsik had amazing cuddling time and was well fed!
Though new to Rover, Laura dove right into her caring role with our Cavalier. She had prepared questions and followed up on a question during the stay. We appreciated that interest. It was more than a boarding role as she accommodated his senior needs - she carried him on the stairs when needed and dispensed his medications. Laura did this without an issue. Griffyn enjoyed his stay - and we appreciated the attention and photos.
Laura was absolutely phenomenal! I needed a sitter last minute and was extremely nervous. But after speaking with Laura all my nerves were put at ease. She was attentive and sent updates daily. I was always able to get in contact with her and never had an issue with communication. I will 1000% be becoming again for as long as she is willing to watch Bentley. Bentley came back just as loved and spoiled as when I dropped her off which is always the goal.
I highly recommend Laura for any pet sitting needs! She has been my trusted go-to dog sitter for my young mini goldendoodle for about two years now. She has helped me out in numerous situations with my dog, whether I had to go out of town last minute I needed a sitter or if I was stuck in traffic and needed someone to pick up my dog from daycare before closing. She is very trustworthy and reliable, and my dog just adores her! I always appreciate the text/photo/video updates of my pup that she provides when dog sitting. I feel very comfortable recommending her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Laura is a loving aunt to Elle Jae, my 60 lb coonhound mix. She walks Elle Jae, picks up after her, and gives her treats and belly rubs. Elle Jae loves to sniff, mark, and take her time, and Laura allows her to walk at her own pace and enjoy the world (and smells) around her. Elle Jae is always super excited to see Laura!

Schedule
I fully work from home in a 9 to 5 job with a lot of flexibility, so I’m able to step out for drop-in in your home or to give a lot of attention to your pet if boarding in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
I own my condo so no worries about an overbearing landlord. I live on a quiet block with no neighbors above or next door to me, so overall a calm apartment to live in. Note that I am on the fourth floor, so three flights of stairs are involved. If your dog has trouble with stairs, my place may not be the best choice. I have around 800 square feet of space for your pet to explore and I also live within a 10 minute walk to 2 different dog parks.
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood with your dog- it’s good for both of us to get fresh air and sunshine☺️ Playing with your animal’s toys with them is also a must… it’s great for mental stimulation and good way to avoid boredom!
