This is expected to remain the case until at least December 2026** People say you’re either a cat or a dog person, but I’m genuinely both! I grew up with cats but became a dog owner as an adult however I currently have no pets of my own. I love all animals and work mostly from home on a freelance basis, so I have lots and lots of free time available to dedicate to your fur babies. ITC Emergency First Aid for Dogs qualified!

Meigle loves staying at Laura's. Always so excited to run up the stairs when she arrives. Laura is great at keeping in touch with updates and pictures while Meigle is there which is so reassuring. You can tell that Laura really cares for the dogs she looks after and gives them lots of attention.
Laura was so lovely, she took the time to get to know Leia and treated her as if she was her own dog. She was very gracious about the stealth poops and widdles and even had Leia in bed with her at night which would have really made Leia feel settled, especially as it was her first time with a pet sitter. Thank you for taking such lovely care of her!

Schedule
My work schedule is very flexible and I often work from home, so as long as I have at least a few days notice I can accommodate most pet care needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets will be the only animals in my home for the time that they’re with me, so I am usually happy to accept animals who don’t play well with other pets! I do not have a garden but I do live next to the biggest and most gorgeous park in Edinburgh so your dogs can be treated to some excellent walks. I try to be conscientious about keeping to the established routine of your pets, so please do let me know their usual schedule with regards to food and exercise requirements. My home is well equipped with pet food & water bowls, dog bedding & blankets, towels, toys, balls, and poo bags. I request that pet owners supply their pets’ usual food and treats and you are also welcome to provide any favourite toys, bedding etc to make sure your pet’s stay with me is as comfortable as possible. Please note that I live in a first floor flat and my building does not have a lift. If this poses a problem for you or your pet, please do let me know.
A typical day
I like to stick to your dog’s current routine as much as possible, but I can generally accommodate regular walks/toilet breaks, lots of playtime and enriching activities and anything else requested.
