Thank you for viewing my profile! Please note, I am unable to accept on-going daily or even several times a week visit/walk requests. Should you have an on-going 1 or possibly 2x/ week need, please ask, I may be able to accommodate your request. Also, short-term requests where frequent visits are needed are welcome. I work full-time M-F and while I have a flexible schedule, I take Rover assignments I'm confident I can fulfill. Please also note that I am a positive-based dog owner/trainer. I do not use choke collars/shock collars on my own dogs, nor will I use them on anyone else's. I am happy to work with you on choosing alternatives! A little about me. I've had dogs nearly 20 years; mixed breeds and herding breeds, and use positive-reinforcement in play and training. I currently have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd named Bing and an 8 year old Aussie/Border collie rescue named Mac. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, including senior dogs with mobility issues. Bing and Mac have graduated from Level 3 Manners class. Mac has also excelled in Rally classes and a class for reactive dogs at the SPCA. We currently train to compete in Agility, Rally, and Nose Work. I have experience using thinking games as well as physical games, and have worked with less-confident dogs and boisterous dogs. I welcome all ages, sizes, breeds and dogs with special needs. I also enjoy visiting with cats, and as I consider my dogs a part of my family, I'll treat animals the same. You can trust that your dog or cat is being well-taken care of.
