When she is left alone food, remotes, and anything of value are good to be kept out of reach. She is usually a good girl and is use to being alone for a while, but sometimes she gets a big in her and wants to destroy things.

About Ruger

Ruger is the newest rescue addition to our family! He is a loving, energetic, goofball puppy. He loves chew toys, playing with his new sister Bella, and going on adventures. We are learning more and more about Ruger everyday we have him, but he is a lover with a big personality. Him and Bella play really well together! They can get a bit rough at times, but that is normal.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 1 year old
  • Weight: 35lbs
  • Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier & Weimaraner
  • Tracking Chip: No
  • Neutered: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
Ruger hasn’t had any accidents in the house in a while! He is used to being alone for long periods of time. If he doesn’t poop in the morning though he will go in the house. We have a dog door in the house so he goes in and out as he pleases, but before we put it in he would sit at the door and wait to be let out
  • Gets along with children: Yes
Before we rescued Ruger he was being fostered by a family with 5 children ages 2-13 and did very well! We haven't personally seen him around kids.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Ruger is iffy when it comes to dogs. Certain dogs he loves, but he has had incidents where he doesn’t like dogs. He is still a puppy so he is still being socialized. Him and Bella give each other enough exercise and love.
  • Gets along with cats: No
Ruger has not interacted with cats yet so we are not sure how he would do
