They say to never work with children or animals but I want to do both! In between my shifts as Children’s Nurse, I am available to look after your pooches either in my house with my own female (spayed) dog or within your own home. From sassy terriers to my own large breed dog, I’m used to spending time with dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities. Through my most recent dog Mabel, I have needed to learn about trigger stacking, impulse control and reading canine body language in order to optimise her wellbeing. Now I am hoping I can do that to help me care for your dogs! Due to my own dog being a working breed, I am always out walking and used to being active so you can be guaranteed that your dog will have walks amended to their needs! Through my main job as a nurse, I am used to being patient, compassionate and soft in order to make those in my care, feel at ease. It also means bodily fluids do not bother me and I am happy to administer medications and provide basic medical if needed.
