I work part time and from home so I am able to provide your baby with my complete undivided attention! I swim daily for my health and happen to live across the street from a park, so pups will have plenty opportunity for outdoor playtime.

I have two iron gates separating two different alleys and two courtyards all connected with an 8' brick fence protecting my privacy and outdoor space. This makes potty-training of younger dogs and incontinence often seen in seniors an absolute breeze!

I solely have to introduce Kida to other guests as she can be very overly stimulated. Once an introduction has commenced after a full stay, a dog-parent can meet her as well and she will brightly warm up to them; but I try to reduce human interaction while she is still in early training.
A typical day
My pup is in service dog training for myself. We have a minimum half our outside of agility and retrieving training daily after work. Younger dogs often like to join her while older dogs like to watch the show ^_^ (they will all get treats, parents willing <3)

Pet care experience
I grew up with a menagerie of furry babies, scaley babies, barnyard babies, and sweet swimmers. I have since kept my own dogs and fostered 10 dogs over the last fifteen years. I am extremely skilled with medical fosters. I said goodbye to my 90lb senior Rottweiler earlier this year and just parted with my 14 year old, 3 legged, 6lbs puppy mill rescue Pomeranian. I've fostered deaf animals and dogs with aggression issues. I am pleased to have found permanent homes for my fosters, but when fur babies come to my house, they never want to leave :)
Reviews

My girl loves being at Laura’s! She is a caring, responsible, loving sitter. I love getting daily photos and updates. The silver lining when we have to leave our girl behind when we travel is that we know she is in great hands with Laura (and can visit with her friends Bruce and Kida!).

Laura was fantastic, and we had no worries about leaving Fika in her very capable hands. She carefully managed the introduction of the dogs to each other so there were no issues, and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day to make sure we didn’t worry.

Laura was fantastic as always! Huge help and takes great care of my dog who has a great time with her.

Laura will take incredible care of your furry baby. She did mine. My dog spent 2 whole weeks with Laura (our plans to take her with us fell through) and I got daily updates with photos as well as questions about what I thought if something seemed a little off (our dog is very sound-sensitive and can be a fussy eater). It was very reassuring, especially during such a long absence. I can't recommend Laura highly enough. She is very experienced with dogs and has a nice double-courtyard situation so there was plenty of space for my 45-pound medium-large girl. I feel lucky to have found Laura to care for my girl when I can't be home.
