In the past 4 years with Rover, I've taken care of senior dogs with medical needs, dogs with special needs (blindness) and puppies in training. I work from home full-time and love to have “coworkers” through pet sitting! I know taking care of your best friend is a big responsibility and I hope to make it as fun and stress-free as I can for both of us. Fun fact: Dachshunds are my favorite breed 🌭 I bought doggy stairs to take care of their backs!

We absolutely loved having Laura watch Topanga! From the very beginning, she was so patient with her every step of the way. Topanga has separation anxiety and can take some time to warm up to new people and new environments, so the fact that she willingly went with Laura when we dropped her off and got comfortable so quickly meant EVERYTHING to us. Laura really took the time to understand Topanga and her needs. She never forced her into anything, especially when she first arrived, and allowed her to get comfortable at her own pace. She communicated with us throughout the weekend, which gave us so much peace of mind, and she gave Topanga plenty of snuggles and affection, which we know helps calm her anxiety. What we appreciated most was how much Laura tailored the entire weekend around Topanga and what made her comfortable. It truly felt like Topanga was being cared for and loved, not just watched. Being able to travel three hours away and actually relax knowing that our prized possession was safe, comfortable, and getting ALL the love was priceless. ♥️ We are so grateful to Laura for taking such wonderful care of our girl and would absolutely trust her with Topanga again!
Laura was great. Provided great updates and took really good care of Maggie. Maggie loved hanging out with her. Plus Laura gave Maggie lots of belly rubs.
Laura is a wonderful sitter! This was Jackson’s second stay either her. She was patient and caring with him for a long stay. Because of his blindness and cognitive decline he was a bit scared and she tried hard to make him feel comfortable. Laura followed all instructions excellently and kept us informed daily with photos end reports. She watched him carefully and noticed something that required an emergency vet visit which she handled perfectly. Thank you Laura for taking such good care of Jackson and he would love to stay with you again!

Laura was great with our senior dog, Jackson! He has some physical issues but Laura knew how to take good care of him. She kept us informed throughout his stay. She is very responsible and even made a “safe” area for him. Already booked another stay with Laura!

Schedule
My day to day is very open and flexible. I work from home full time and stay with pets 75%-100% of the time they are in my care, depending on your pet’s needs. I usually go on walks/runs in the afternoons so its exercise for both me and your dogs, if they're active.

My apartment is smoke-free and no other animals live here. I also have some small doggy stairs to get on sofas/beds as needed. My building has doormen and porters that I can call in the case of any emergencies.
A typical day
I live right by the LIC waterfront and Hunters Point South Park so your dogs will get tons of play and park time every day if they're high energy, or a light long walk with some great views.
