Hey, Im Laura! I am an experienced dog handler, dog walker, and dog caretaker. I have had dogs my entire life, I'm an absolute animal lover, and I'm also an approved foster home through BARCS rescue in Calgary Alberta. I typically have the most experience with larger high energy, and more controversial breeds that require a strong handler. I also have a lot of experience with seniors, and high maintenance breeds. I currently have an American Staffordshire Terrier of my own, who is incredibly well-behaved and a senior female with a very calm demeanor and energy. I also have a small Xoloitzcuintli, or Mexican hairless, that requires frequent baths and skin care, has no teeth, needs food grinded up, and wears diapers; he requires a little bit of extra care! The same level of care that I can offer your animals as well! Being surrounded by animals brings me peace, and it's one of my greatest joys in life. I am also currently a dog walker, and can provide references if needed from my current client! I really look forward to hosting your pet! I know our animals are some of the most important family members in our lives, and I can assure you that I provide the same care and consideration that I would expect from others who have taken care of my own pets. I am so willing to take on reactive or reclusive animals. Since I currently work for myself, and from home, your animals will be under constant supervision, and care taking for animals is my priority. I live next to various off leash and leashed dog parks, my dogs come with me everywhere, and I am always home in the company of them. I am a homeowner, and live on the top floor of a 4 story walkup brownstone, so no concerns in terms of the dogs getting out or being alone outside. My home is in a safe neighbourhood, I am bondable, in my 30s, ethical, and responsible.
