Dog Loving Family!
Update: We are back! Our family moved to Harrisonburg last summer & we're looking forward to accepting Rover clients again. We have 4 children now & still have our sweet & laid-back cat, Rocky. All dogs must be good with children and cats. Our neighborhood is quiet & our backyard is fenced in. We look forward to spending time with you dog! Hi! My husband works at UVA and I stay at home with our two boys. We are a dog-loving family and would love to spoil your pup! We have a cat named Rocky, who is declawed and gets along well with other animals. Our neighborhood is peaceful and offers trails, quiet roads and plenty of green space for walking. Pets are just like kids and we will treat yours as one of our own!

I can't say enough good things about Laura and her band of little helpers! They've cared for Gizmo twice now and both times he's been well loved. As an added plus, Laura provides great updates throughout the stay and takes fantastic pictures so we can stay connected to how Gizmo's enjoying himself while we're away. You can't go wrong booking with Laura!
Laura and her family were fantastic. They treated Porter as if he were their own. Frequent updates and pictures were provided and I knew he was so well cared for.
We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! We were nervous to leave our pup with someone and we never used Rover before but we took a chance and we were so happy with Laura! She was very flexible with our schedule and let us drop Blossom off super early in the morning even on short notice. She sent us a ton of photos throughout the day and updated us on the fun they were having on walks and playing with her kids ?
Laura and her family were terrific with Gizmo! He got lots of walks, play time, and snuggles when it was time to wind down. Gizmo came home content, relaxed, and well cared for. And the regular updates and pictures were some of the best we've experienced with Rover. Can't recommend Laura highly enough!
Laura and family deserve more than 5 stars. They truly cared for my dog, Opie, like it was their own dog. He was in amazing hands for the whole weekend and I couldn’t of asked for a better first experience using the app! Laura and family will be taking care of my dog on any other time that I will need someone to dog sit! I was always being updated with messages and pictures about him and how much fun he was having with them! I couldn’t be happier for their service!
Laura and her family is very kind and welcoming! Very nice neighborhood, clean and lovely home. I would give 10 stars if I could! My dog Pica was very well taken care of for 5 days. I was worried Pica would get anxious because it was his first time boarding, but everything turned out wonderful. I love the fact that Laura sent me daily updates about Pica and really give peace of mind. Due to my mistake, I had a last minute change in the plan, and Laura was very flexible to accommodate that. I will definitely book with Laura again in a heartbeat!

Schedule
I stay at home with our kiddos & we of course have outings, appointments etc; however, we'll be with your pup most of the time & can't wait to include them in our day!

We have a fenced in yard, will take leashed walks and can crate as necessary. Will send lots of pictures and updates throughout your pup's stay!
A typical day
We take walks in the neighborhood, are almost always in our back yard playing & our children love dogs! Your pup will have plenty of exercise, love and attention at our house.
