Laura and her family were wonderful with our Abby. After our initial meeting I felt very comfortable leaving our girl for a few days. It was her first visit and she was as happy as anything when we returned! She even ran back in their house to say goodbye to Laura when we were leaving. I appreciated the updates, constant communication and patience Laura had with me as it was my first time using the ...

First time leaving my pup for an extended period of time and couldn't have felt more comfortable with Laura. I received pictures and updates throughout her stay which meant a lot to me. I knew she was having a good time and that put less stress on me being so far away. I will definitely be using Laura in the future for my boarding needs! Thank you sooo much! <3

Certified Veterinary Technician

Hi! I'm Laura. I have been married for 11 years and I have 2 young boys. I have 20 years of experience working in veterinary hospitals as a technician/nurse. Currently I work from home as an essay exam grader in the veterinary department of Penn Foster online college. It gives me the opportunity to stay connected to my profession while staying home to raise my two young sons. My dog, Daphne, has been socialized ...

What Laura would like to know about your dog

It's important for me to know about any medical conditions and allergies. I need to know if the dog tolerates small children and cats. I need to know if the dog is housebroken or if there is a tendency to chew on things. With a toddler in the house, it is almost impossible to dog-proof.
I don't have any breed preferences. I love most breeds, especially pit bulls and great danes. A meet and greet is always a good idea though to avoid any mishaps between my animals and any visitors.

When Laura watches your pet

Alden Mountain is right outside our back yard with plenty of space and walking paths. I walk my dog out there all the time.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement:
I try to keep it comfortable for everybody. I have a couple of dog beds and we do allow dogs on our furniture. I have a small crate if necessary.

Time I'll spend with your dog:
I am home almost all the time. Occasionally I have to run quick errands, but nothing that takes me out of the house for more than a couple of hours at a time.
