Cats are my love language
As someone who grew up in a family with 6 cats, learning their language came to me as naturally as learning my own. I am well-versed in earning a new cat's trust with slow blinks and patience, and genuinely enjoy learning each cat's personalities and needs. During our visits, I share comfort and pets, energetic playtime, respectful co-existence, or any combination of the three. My goal is to leave kitty feeling content and cared-for. I have 16 years of cat care experience, including caring for my own pets, cat sitting, and volunteering at MDSPCA and BARCS. Visits include quality time, feeding, water refreshing, and litter box scooping. I am happy to discuss administering common medications.
Safety, trust & environment
At the beginning of the visit, I check in with your cat(s) (or find them if they're napping in a nook). Next, I check their food, water, litter box, and toys, so I can let you know what they've been doing in their free time. Most of our visit is quality time, giving cuddles/pets, playing with their favorite toys, and/or coexisting near each other, depending on what your cat(s) need that day. Later in the visit, I clean food and water bowls, feed, refresh water, and scoop the litter box. This is also when your cat(s) will get any medications we talked about. I do a final check to make sure kitty and their things are clean and safe before locking up.

For as long as I've known Laura, she has been an avid animal lover and excellent pet caregiver. She was a first choice when I was looking for a cat sitter for my two cats. Laura kept my home spotless, and more importantly, made sure that my cats were happy and taken care of.

Schedule
I WFH with a flexible schedule, and can schedule visits for whenever works best for you and your cat(s)! I'm available mornings through evenings during the week.
