Whether it's 4 days, or 4 months, your pets deserve to feel safe and loved. When with them, they are my number 1 priority 💖 What once started as a fun hobby, turned into something I realised I'm actually really good at, and could make a living from! 5 years ago I started volunteering to walk dogs via BorrowMyDoggy, in London, then it became looking after dogs and cats in their homes. Then I moved out of London, to Norfolk, and found a wonderful community built on trust and friendliness. I made friends and naturally offered to look after their pets when they're away. My big realisation happened when I did a house/pet sit for, in total, near on FOUR MONTHS. It was two dogs (Cockapoo & Beagle-Pitbull), and two cats, with one cat being poorly, which was a steep learning curve for me. I made friends with the client's dog walker, Paula (of Paula's Pawsome Dog Park!), who asked me if this is something I'd consider doing again, and so got me thinking. I then went on to do my first sit through her for a sweet old Basset Hound and a cute cat. I view animals like people, they have their own quirks and preferences, and I always feel honoured to be able to share their space and be part of their lives, even for just a couple days, I am always so grateful.
