With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, I bring both heart and expertise to every pet I welcome. I'm the proud owner of a hospital therapy golden retriever, and that same patience and attentiveness is what every animal in my care receives. My extensive dog behavior training means I'm equipped to handle pets of all temperaments with confidence and calm. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind and give your pet a safe, loving home away from home.

Laura took care of our older Lhasa for several weeks on short notice when we had a family obligation across the country. She was responsive and attentive to our dog's needs during that time, sending us photo updates and responding to questions promptly. When we returned our elderly dog was in good spirits and almost seemed rejuvenated. We were so grateful Laura was available during that time. It was a relief for us to know our beloved family dog was in good hands.
Laura has cared for our cats several times. She has always been professional, communicative, and so loving to them! We receive lots of pictures every time and she treats them as well as her own pets! We will be using Laura again!
Laura is a fantastic kitty caregiver! She gives them lots of love and attention, as well as feeds them and keeps my long haired kitty well groomed. She’s always been such a great, reliable source whenever we need someone while we’re away! We’re very grateful for her care.

Schedule
I am a teacher, so completely available to care for your pet most days during the summer! I'm very attentive to pet routines because I have my own dog at home! I'm available to take pets on short notice, with a home interview.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a safe neighborhood and walk my dog on a daily basis. I do not leave my dog outside unattended, and the same will apply to your pets! Nothing hazardous is accessible to pets in the home, and we are diligent about keeping doors closed
Pets
A typical day
We have lots of toys and I love to take dogs outside for plenty of walks and playtime. We have a park nearby and it is a great place for dogs to exercise. In the summer, I love to set up the sprinkler for dogs who enjoy water, and occasionally, we make it to the dog beach if they are swimmers!
