****Update*** As of May 23 2026,I will be living down in Stowe, VT for a summer job opportunity and will not be available to sit in the greater Burlington (Burlington, Essex, Colchester, South Burlington, Williston) Area. I will keep updated about my fall/winter plans once my summer postition comes to an end :) My name is Laura, and I am a 31-year-old Vermont Local . I am a Naturalist/Outdoor Educator by passion and by training :) Growing up in the Greater Burly area of Vermont, I have a love for the outdoors and take every chance I get to go outside and explore, whether that be with friends or four-legged family. I love meeting and getting to know dogs of all, ages, sizes, and personalities. I have experience petting sitting dogs in the comfort of their own homes, as well as working with dogs in a humane society setting. I also previously worked at a doggie daycare for about a year and a half. As well as dogs I also have experience pet sitting for cats, small reptiles, and other small mammals. I love all animals and have experience as an Education Animal Care intern at Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida. I also have worked for two seasons as a park ranger in beautiful Glacier National Park!

Having Laura stay with our two kitties while we were away was a blessing. We knew they were being loved and cared for well. We will be asking for her again. It doesn’t get any better.
Laura took wonderful care of my cat Eddie while I was away, it is very evident how much she genuinely cares about animals. I really appreciated the detailed updates on how he was doing, gave me a lot of piece of mind he was in good hands.
Laura was so great and attentive feeding my cat for the week. I highly recommend and will use her again in the future!
Laura is amazing!! She left descriptive summaries of each visit, shared tons of pictures and our kitties absolutely loved her!! She took such great care of our kitties, and relieved so much anxiety that I normally feel when we’re away. I can tell how much she cares about them, thank you Laura!!

Watching fur families is my full time commitment! This is my full-time job which grants me great flexibility caring for your loved ones! Whether that be stopping by for an hour or staying overnight :)
