Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we already have two dogs of our own, so caring for pets is simply part of our everyday life. We start our mornings with feeding, potty breaks, and backyard playtime before school and work. In the evenings, we spend time outside again for exercise, attention, and downtime together as a family. Any visiting pup easily becomes part of this routine—they’re included in playtime, supervised outdoor time, and all the love and attention we give our own dogs. Caring for dogs is something we enjoy and do consistently, so your pet will fit right in and feel like family.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in my home by welcoming them into our regular family routine and providing a safe, structured, and loving environment. Visiting dogs have access to our large garage and fenced backyard for supervised play, potty breaks, and exercise. They also enjoy the company of our two friendly dogs, who help create a comfortable and social atmosphere. I maintain each dog’s feeding schedule, provide plenty of attention, and make sure they have a cozy place to rest. During the day while we are at work, the dogs stay in our secure backyard with access to shade and lounging areas. In the evenings and mornings, we spend extra time playing with them, giving affection, and making sure their needs are met. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home while staying with us.

Requirements for Boarding To ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for all pets and children in our home, we kindly ask that all visiting dogs meet the following criteria: Must be friendly with children and other dogs Although my children are not typically left alone with the dogs and will have very limited interaction, it’s important that visiting pups are comfortable around kids for everyone’s safety. Must be fully potty trained If not fully potty trained, your dog may be comfortably confined to the kitchen or garage with puppy pads during regular bathroom times. Must be free of any contagious illnesses No females in heat or currently menstruating No aggressive behavior Regarding Meet & Greets: A meet and greet is not required as long as your dog is known to be very friendly with other dogs. Leashed introductions can sometimes create unnecessary tension, and our dogs are naturally welcoming and social, so we usually transition new dogs into the home environment smoothly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation—these guidelines help ensure a happy, safe, and stress-free stay for every pup in our care! 🐾

A typical day

We love keeping our pups entertained and happy! Some of the fun activities we do include playing fetch and running around in our large fenced backyard, going on relaxing walks to the park just around the corner, and giving them plenty of supervised indoor time so they can explore, get comfortable, and feel like part of the family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or a calm stroll, we make sure every dog has a fun and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Pet care experience

Hello everyone! My name is Laura Perales—mom of four energetic boys and proud dog mom to our friendly German Shepherd, Sosa, and our sweet Corgi, Lola. We live in Westminster, CA, in a cozy home with a spacious, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime. We’ve been hosting dogs for over 15 years and are proud to have earned consistent 5-star reviews from families who trust us with their furry loved ones. Our home is truly a place where pups feel safe, loved, and welcomed. Our family absolutely loves having doggie friends over, and we can’t wait to welcome your pup into our home! ❤️ Because we have small children and two social dogs, we kindly ask that visiting pups be friendly, well-behaved, and comfortable around kids and other dogs. While we’re not trainers, we provide a safe, structured, and caring environment—so basic training and good listening skills are important to make the stay enjoyable for everyone. During the day, your pup will enjoy: A large, secure backyard to play and explore Access to the garage for shade and cozy resting spots Friendly company from Sosa and Lola A peaceful, relaxed environment until we return from work We also encourage you to send your dog’s favorite bed or blanket to help them feel even more at home. ⭐ Drop-off as early as 7 AM ⭐ Pick-up available after 6 PM We treat every dog like part of our family, and our goal is to make sure your pup feels comfortable, happy, and cared for during their stay. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾💛

Roxy had an amazing time and was well taken care of. We got lots of updates throughout the stay, and Laura always answered us right away on how our pup was doing.

Laura has been great. I leave my dog, Buddy, with her every time I’m out of town, and it seems he has a great time. She’s super easy to work with too, and communicates well. I’m very thankful for Laura and her family.
