Hi there! Are you a super protective dog parent? Well so am I. Which is why I consider myself a good fit for folks who might be picky about who watches their fur babies, or someone trying a pet sitter for the first time. My partner refers to me as a true dog mom because I bring the gift of nurture and attunement to not just my own animals, but all animals. I won’t just make sure your pet is safe, I will engage with them, play with them, make sure they get the movement they require to feel at ease. I tend to animals like they are my babies. My nana was the same way, so it might just be in our genes! It brings me joy to sense their needs and to know that they're content and well cared for. I have fostered several dogs and cats with health issues necessitating medical care outside the environment of the animal shelter. I have over 2 years experience working as a dog walker/pet sitter with "It's Always Sunny Dog Walkers" in Miami, FL. During that time, I was Pet First Aid Certified via the Pet Professional Guild (2015). I have a home with a big fenced in yard. It's perfect for pups to play or just relax and sunbathe :) I look forward to meeting your beloved pet.

Laura was AMAZING. My longest time away from Gus, and although I missed him, I never doubted for a second he was in the best hands. Laura provided daily pictures, videos, and updates. It’s nice knowing I can go away without feeling so guilty about leaving my best friend behind. Thanks Laura!
Laura was wonderful with our young, energetic Belgian sheepdog. This was our first time leaving him with a Rover sitter and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Laura was so welcoming at our first meet and greet. The attention to detail, experience and compassion that Laura possesses were obvious from the beginning. Laura is a great communicator - kept us up to date each day and sent the cutest photos. Our pup was completely spoiled and well cared for. He came home happy and healthy. We would gladly book with Laura again.
Pets got along with our dog very well and owners were great! Very active sending us photos
Laura was great! Buster came home and slept for hours after an overnight. I got lots of photos and he looked really happy.
Chilli was quickly accepted by Laura and her 2 wonderful dogs, Meadow and Rusty. She had a great day with them and I look forward to using Laura again.

Schedule
My partner and I work from home - we have flexible hours and are able to give your pups lots of attention during the work week. I work M-F and I am off on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
Since I work from home, I am able to tend to pups anytime throughout the day. I have a large fenced in yard and live right by a park with over 120 acres of land for them to explore (supervised of course).
Pets
A typical day
Depending on their activity level and owners instruction, we would go for walks, runs, play fetch, or go to the a dog park, or to Sandy River Delta (if it's a weekend). I live right next to Furnburg park, so I would take them there to play in the morning and evening, and we would go for walks around the fields near my house. If they’re high energy and used to running, I would love to take them to Forest Park for a trail run. Or if they’re super chill, I would happily snuggle with them on the couch :)
