Hi! I’m a 20-something professional - former teacher - who’s been in Asheville for about a year. I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we’ve had everything from chihuahuas to Great Pyreneeses. Through volunteering at various animal rescue organizations, I’ve been a foster parent for rescue dogs as well as underaged, orphaned kittens. I’ve also helped train medical service dogs. Presently, I have two pets: a hyper husky mix, Rosie, and a tuxedo kitty, Boo. I’m an animal lover and I have experience with a variety of animals of varying sizes and ages. I’ve had puppies and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats. As someone who has been involved in rescues, I’m also not a stranger to dealing with the issues that sometimes come with rescue animals, like reactivity or fear.
