I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them throughout my adult life. I currently have my own dog, Maki, so visiting dogs come into a calm, pet-friendly home where they’re treated like family. I’m experienced with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and I make sure every dog gets the walks, attention, and cuddles they need. I also have a cat at home, so dogs used to or curious about cats are very welcome.

Veldig positiv opplevelse! Vi hadde hunden vår, Kajsa, hos Laura. Det var en koselig inngjerdet tomt så Kajsa kunne løpe fritt. Hun fikk møte andre hunder og storkoste seg. Vi fikk bilder og oppdateringer hver dag som var trygt og fint for både oss og barna imens vi var på ferietur.
Laura took care of our 11 year old husky for 10 days and we are very pleased! He got daily walks, snuggles, and made a new friend with their dog, Maki. We got daily updates, photos, and videos. She was very attentive to his needs and made sure he was cared for and loved during his time there. Very thankful for Laura and would highly recommend!

Schedule
I am currently working fully remote and am home all day, so visiting dogs will have constant company and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Walks, playtime, and rest time are all part of my day with my own dog Maki, and any guest dogs are simply included in that.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pet-friendly home with a garden, shared with my own dog Maki and a cat called Neko. Guest dogs are treated as part of the household and never left alone for long periods. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs and always keep owners updated with how their dog is doing.

A typical day
We have a forest behind the house, a field around and fjord at ten minutes walk and can take nice long walks with our four legged guests. We also allow access to a bunch of comfy places in the house including the couch for nice long naps. Of course there is also playtime with Maki or with us and your pets favorite toy.
