My husband and I both work from home. Our daily routine starts with a trip to the backyard for a morning potty break, followed by breakfast. We usually go for a 45-60 minute walk in the afternoon, weather permitting, then serve dinner around 7. Potty breaks are given as needed (at least every 3 hours) during the day, with the last one right before bed. Our dogs sleep on their beds on our bedroom floor.

We make sure the dogs are always supervised in the backyard. Even though it's fully fenced, our big guy has been known to climb over a shorter section to mingle with the neighbors :). We are happy to set up a crate for your dog if that's what they're used to. We have plenty of space and keep things tidy but not fussy. Our dogs are couch potatoes for most of the day but do love to get in a few rounds of zoomies with friends who come to visit.

We prefer dogs with a temperament similar to our own- calm, friendly, people-loving couch potatoes. For first-time boarding guests, we'd like to have a short play date at our house ahead of time to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable.
A typical day
I'm happy to provide playtime in the backyard, throwing a ball or playing tug. My dogs aren't big on toys so they get their exercise on our walks.

Ellie came into my life about 10 years ago, and now I can't imagine life without a dog. My husband and I adopted a second rescue dog a few years ago and we love taking care of them.

While looking for care for my "special needs" pup, I found Laura and Manuel and couldn't be happier that I did! My dog felt almost immediately comfortable during our meet and greet, running around the yard and getting along well with their dogs. Laura was extremely patient with me while I explained my dogs medicine regimen and my concerns. During the stay, I was kept updated with texts and pics and best of all, my dog had a GREAT time! I feel totally comfortable that he is in good hands while hes there and will definitely be rebooking in the future.
Otis came home a happy and well cared for dog. They did a great job!
This is the third time that Laura and Manuel have watched our two pups and they are beyond amazing. We knew that the dogs were having the best time and were very well taken care of. They sent us pictures and updates throughout our trip and are always responsive.
Laura and Manny are great. Wiley adores them and Kain and Ellie!
