I’ve been a pet companion/owner for most of my life, a childhood educator for almost two decades, and now I’m a mother of young children. I see parallels in these important roles: I view so-called negative action as communication, and my job is respond with empathy, understanding, and boundaries of safety and love.

Laura is very responsible and took great care of our cat while we were away. She was very attentive to Freya’s needs and gave her lots of attention! We got consistent and detailed updates on how she was doing and photos.
Laura has cared for my pug on several occasions. I get great pics, helpful updates, and recommendations for further care. She is patient and affectionate with my dog and a reliable communicator.
