Hi, I'm Laura, a 31-year-old from living in Hove (3 min walk from the train station on Wilbury Ave). I have a garden, hoorah! I've been around animals since I was little. My family has always had cats and dogs, including mischievous beagles, Irish setters, Westies, Jack Russells (and more!), so I'm very well-versed in looking after pets, whatever their size, age or temperament. I can send you photos throughout your pet's stay and I'll communicate with you as much as you wish.

Laura is an absolute gem who’s taken care of my dog Nina on numerous occasions ever since she was a puppy. Nina can be a bit of a handful(!) but Laura always manages to keep her happy and entertained, plus Nina absolutely adores her. I trust Laura completely and never worry when I know Nina’s with her. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone on the hunt for reliable and caring dog sitter.
Laura has looked after my cat Obi many times, since he was a very small kitten. Laura has so much love to give, with kitty care & safety always front of mind. She keeps me updated with messages and pictures, which has been great, and reassuring too. I'm confident that Obi is treated like a king when being looked after Laura!
Laura is great with my dog Pablo. She’s super responsible and caring and extremely trustworthy. My pug heads over to Laura whenever she is available and I know he’s had the best care when he’s been there with her. She’s excellent!!

With instruction, I make sure I respect an owner’s wishes and understand that some pets need strict routine and have training requirements. When I looked after Bella, a cockapoo I dogsat for years, I was trusted with house keys and an alarm code and kept in regular contact with her owner (after an ‘audition’ walk, of course!).

I've owned dogs and cats with bladder problems and mobility problems before, so you can trust that I will take good care of your pet and will take good note of your instruction. Things I’d like to know about before I look after your pet: - Meal plan(s) and snack allowances/dietary requirements - Toilet schedule/regularity - Favourite toys and games - Sleeping habits and schedule - Lead preferences - Behavioural issues (if your dog boards whilst I am working, I will need to know if your dog is anxious or requires consistent attention) - Temperament with other dogs/people whilst on walks - Allowed outside
A typical day
I'm a 15 minute from the beach, so I can take your pooch for long walks. I also have an enclosed garden, so I'm more than happy to play with an outdoor pet with their favourite toy, running around to wear them out... It's extra exercise for me, so win win!

Availability
I mostly work remotely though sometimes have to go to the office and will try and make sure my calendar reflects this. I am open to regular communication, and happy to meet with you before any stays so you can get to know me properly/ask any questions. I want to make sure your pet is cared for in the best possible way!
