I've been around dogs my whole life, not just as a sitter, but as someone who has shown up for them. I raised my own dog from puppyhood all the way through her senior years, and I was there for every stage in between. I also cared for my roommate's elderly dog who had one ear and cataracts, making sure he felt safe, comfortable, and loved every single day. Now I have a rescue pup of my own, so I understand firsthand the patience and heart it takes to care for a dog with a unique background. As a former D1 athlete, staying active is just part of who I am, which means your dog will always get a real walk, not just a quick trip around the block. Whether your pup is young and energetic or older and needs a gentler touch, I know how to meet them where they are. Laura watched our dog Lulu for 7 weeks. We had never left Lulu with a pet sitter before and were a little nervous about how it would go. Laura exceeded our expectations and was amazing! She kept us updated with photos and videos of our girl daily, walked her 3 times a day, and snuggled up with her during the day and Lulu does not cuddle everyone but loved Laura! We will never go with anyone else as a dog sitter now and even hire Laura now to dog walk if we’re not going to be home during the day. If your feeling nervous like we were about finding someone to take care of your dog as their own I cannot recommend Laura enough!!

Schedule
I recently moved to Tampa and love making pet care a core part of my routine here. My schedule is flexible, so I can work around your pet's needs, whether that's an early morning walk, midday visit, or an afternoon outing. I'm passionate about staying active, and getting outside with a dog is one of my favorite parts of the day, so the more time we get together, the better!

- I like to know their basic routine, feeding schedule, any dietary restrictions or allergies, and where they're used to going potty. It's also helpful to know their temperament: are they shy with strangers, reactive to other dogs, or totally easygoing? I always ask about any medical conditions, medications, or physical limitations so I can keep them safe and comfortable. Knowing their favorite toys, commands, or quirks helps me build trust and make sure they feel at ease from the start
