Availability
I'm working from home and self-employed so I am in control of my own schedule. Boarding rates include a 24 hour period. My drop-off hours are 2pm-8pm for new clients, or anytime between 8am-8pm for returning clients. This is to ensure that new clients get my full attention so they can adjust!

Safety, trust & environment
Before booking first time boarding or daycare clients, I require a brief meet and greet with you and your fur babies to ensure the best experience for everyone involved! For all visiting pets, I do require that your little one be trained with the basics, as well as the ability to get along with other dogs. Pups are given their own separate space if I need to step out for an hour or two, so well-trained dogs are preferred. (Please see important to know for more info!)

Information Laura M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know before booking if your pet has a history of biting (people or other animals), leash reactivity, destructive behavior, separation anxiety, medical conditions, or any other behavioral concerns. Failure to disclose any behavioral issues will hold the owner responsible for any excessive property damage, injuries, veterinary expenses, or other costs caused by their pet during their stay. By booking with me, you agree to this. I am also a dog mom and work hard to keep everything safe for him, so please understand :) If your pet has any special care needs, medications, or routines, I’d love to go over them with you in person so I can make sure they’re as comfortable and well cared for as possible!
A typical day
As an active person, I love to exercise. I'm a great fit for higher energy dogs, or puppies that may need more attention. I have plenty of puzzle games for your dog, as well as lots of toys to keep them entertained.

Pet care experience
Hi! I'm an experienced animal lover with over 12 years of pet sitting and foster care experience. Throughout the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small mammals, and I'm comfortable working with pets of all personalities, energy levels, and care needs. In addition to pet sitting, I've fostered both cats and dogs, helping care for them until they found their forever homes. This experience has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to make animals feel safe and comfortable in new situations. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care for pets whose families need an extra helping hand. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. I'm active and experienced with high-energy pets, thanks in part to my own well-trained 8-year-old Australian Shepherd, Nylo, who keeps me on my toes! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry (or scaly!) family members, and I look forward to providing them with loving, dependable care.

Reviews
Laura watches our cat occasionally when we travel and she's been great. On time, sends lots of photos, and keeps us updated which has made us feel safe with her throughout the years. Highly recommend her to anyone who has a picky cat.
Amazing experience! Laura has watched our dog occasionally when my partner and I go on extended adventures over the past 6 years and we have nothing but good things to say! Our pup has some previous health issues and each time, she was patient and caring. Even through all of that, he gets so excited to see her!
Laura is fantastic. She fostered multiple cats for us throughout 2012-2014 while she was studying full time in college. We used to joke that she would keep them all for herself if she could. When it comes to cats, she's patient and understanding of their needs and unique personalities, which makes her a good match for cats from various backgrounds.
