Growing up I had cats because my family was too busy to care for a dog. Due to this, I became the neighborhood dog sitter as a child! I have many years of experience dog sitting, walking and house sitting in NH, MA and now ME! This is not something I do for money, it is actually a passion of mine. Since I am not able to have a dog where I am currently living, why not take care of other dogs and help out someone in need! I have watched many different breeds (large and small) and many different ages (months to 20 years). I love to go for walks/hikes/be outdoors, so I am always trying to think of fun places for the dogs to have some fun! I am always careful to respect all owners wishes and requests. Your dog/cat would surely be in good hands with me! I have also worked with horses, goats, chickens since I was 10 years old, and most recently, cows and calves! Happy to help with ALL the animals :)

Unfortunately I am unable to care for your pets in my home as we have cat who is king of the household. I do however welcome dogs into my car if you are okay with me taking them out somewhere for a walk!

This is probably my fourth time with Laura as my house/dogsitter and she has been so kind, helpful, and communicative even in times of stress. Right before this last trip, hours before I needed to leave for a flight, my dog started to show signs of a UTI and since she has kidney issues, I didn't want to leave it untreated. Laura generously offered to bring her to the emergency vet the next morning, they prescribed her medication, and Laura helped to administer the meds everyday while I was away. Rosie is always in the best mood when I get home, which always means she was well loved and cared for! I would trust Laura with my fur baby anytime! She is the best.
Second time leaving Rosie with Laura for the weekend. Her new best friend! Super communicative, reliable, and patient with my stubborn, sleepy, Velcro dog. Fully trust her watching my home and my pup anytime.
Laura did an outstanding job caring for my fur babe, Rosie, and watching over my home while I was away. Not only did she update me with cute photos of their daily walks and cuddles, she also took her on a little car adventure so that Rosie could sunbathe in the grass, one of her favorite pastimes, which she doesn't get to at my yard-less apartment. I can say without a doubt that Rosie has a new friend and I will absolutely be booking Laura for future travels!
I felt extremely at ease with Laura watching my pugs while I was gone. We got many pictures of them enjoying their time and Laura was extremely communicative on how they were doing. I absolutely recommend Laura to anyone
Laura came to stay with my two dogs during the day while I worked. It was a unique situation because we had a new adoption. She came over for a quick meet prior to the booking. She was very confident in her ability to handle both big dogs (115lb & 160lb), which made me at ease. She gave updates throughout the day and ended each day with pictures and when they last were taken out. She really loved on my fur babies like they were her own. I can speak highly enough about Laura.
Laura is kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and fun when it comes to taking care of dogs. We have a beagle/dachshund puppy mix and he is ecstatic when Laura arrives for his walk. She gives updates throughout her visits. I feel comfortable and safe leaving our fur baby in her care.

Schedule
I am currently working remotely, so am able to fit in a few dog walks during the day. I can also work from your home when house sitting so that your pets are not left alone all day (as long as there is wi-fi!)
