Whatever your animal care situation is, whether boarding, drop-in visits, doggy daycare or out for a walk, your pets will receive my undivided attention. It depends on the dog of course as to what they prefer to do, so if they need privacy in the yard it is totally secure with 4 foot fencing and hog wire. If they need to be separate as they get to know my 2 dogs, I can also fence off the deck so they can just relax outside on their own. Inside the house, there is plenty of room and I share it without too many restrictions with my pets. I have boarded my dogs with Rover sitters for 7 or so years now, and they always get an A+ for their interactions with other dogs. If your pet needs a visit during the day, I will gleefully drop-in to let your pet know that everything is OK. Even though I have a big fenced in yard, my dogs and I still love to go for walks in all the nearby parks. We go to Mills River Park a lot, as my girls like to say hello to the nearby cows. I am an observant caretaker and will make sure that your dog/cat will be as happy as they can be when in my care. Communicating your animals' needs helps greatly in achieving the utmost care. I have had cats for more than 20 years, and I have had Jules for 9 and Matilda for 7 years. I am a passionate animal lover, so will care for your animals with love and attention. I live near many dog parks if that is their thing, and if your dogs prefer a wilder walk there are many trails around where I live as well. I have almost an acre and my property is 100% secure. Animals bring me a lot of joy so I hope I can make your life easier by taking care of your pets when you can't. I work 95% percent from home. I do a lot of yard work and gardening, and work as a freelancer from my home office. My dogs and I spend a lot of time outdoors and welcome the lovely weather we get here in the mountains. I volunteer with the herd of goats over at The Carl Sandburg House once a week, which puts me out of the house for about 3 hours every Wednesday morning. I enjoy hanging out with animals. My yard is completely fenced in, so it is secure. If the pets are staying at my home, I am constantly monitoring them, especially when they are outside. I never leave them in an outside location without direct supervision.I understand dietary constraints, and the need to give them a pill or two. I treat your pets like my own, and my pets are quite spoiled!
