I grew up around farms and many kinds of animals in rural Nova Scotia. My parents home is nicknamed the “Zoo” and the “orphanage” because that’s what my family does - we take in rescue animals and children. Where I live in town, I am near a few walking paths that are great for exploring with your leashed little ones.

My family has a lot of cars coming and going from my home as it is located next to an office building and in front of a garage, as such it’s not really safe to have them in my home. I’m happy to sit in yours or do long trips/hikes if they need to be occupied for several hours in a day.

Was thrilled to have good communication and lots of pictures of our dogs for our very 1st time leaving them. Laura went above and beyond by cleaning up after many days of rainy,muddy paw prints throughout the house and even washed all the bedding, which was definitely not expected. A nice treat to come home and have one less thing to worry about.
We're glad we found Rover and Laura. Having Laura stay at our house and take care of our dogs who are recent rescues and still leary of people, put our minds at ease. Anytime we want to go away we'll definitely book Laura again.
Laura was amazing!! My cat is very nervous and she was very kind to him and always let me know how he was doing in detail. I had to extend my travel plans last minute and she was immediately available to continue checking in on him! Thank you Laura!

Schedule
I only work 15 hours a week outside of my home at a local business, so I have lots of time to care for your fur babies and family pets. I have experience with cats, rabbits, chickens, goats and just about anything else you’d find on a small homestead including swine.
