Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a bilingual (Fr/Eng with basics in Spanish) full-time professional and a lifelong lover of all animals. I have loads of experience taking care of and fostering dogs and cats, and recently joined Rover because I simply can’t get enough of being around them. I’ve shared my life with many animals including, a Cocker Spaniel, a Pomchi, an Arabian Greyhound, and now a friendly tabby cat. I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. :) Whether it’s a long stroll, playtime, or a cozy nap, your pup/cat will get the same care, attention, and love that I give my own pets. I have a cat now and HE is new to Rover so every animal we board is a new experience for us together. For boarding, I ask that clients bring a Feliway diffuser/plug which you can buy at Pet Valu (approximately $45 + tax). It’s a magical tool that helps keeps cats be comfortable when welcoming and introducing new pets into the home, creating a more relaxed environment for everyone. Laura does an amazing job looking after your pets. She has taken Mabel for walks when needed. Laura handled her perfectly even with the puppy energy of a young golden retriever. Schedule
I’m self-employed, which gives me flexible hours to care for pets. I usually need a few days notice for weekday visits, but I’m often available mornings, lunch hours, and evenings. This flexibility lets me give your cat or dog consistent attention, walks, and cuddles around your schedule.

A typical day
For your dog, I’ll provide: • Daily Walks & Playtime – Regular walks and plenty of exercise to keep your dog happy and healthy. English/French and basics in Spanish. • If your pet is in my care for more than a day, I’ll provide a simple painting or sketch of your pet! • Feeding & Routine Care – I’ll stick closely to your feeding schedule and any special routines. • Photo Updates – You’ll receive pictures and updates during each visit so you can see how your pup is doing! • Clean & Cozy – If your dog gets muddy or messy, I’ll give them a towelling off before you pick them up. • Extra Love – Cuddles, belly rubs, and plenty of attention are always part of the package! • For Cats: Playtime with toys like feathers, lasers, and balls, gentle petting and cuddles, treats, and interactive enrichment to keep them mentally stimulated.

- I make sure to understand a pet’s breed, temperament, and history before sitting. If a dog is known to have aggressive tendencies or is uncomfortable around people or other animals, I may not be the right fit. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being always come first.
