Information Laura K. would like to know about your pet
I’ve worked with and cared for many different breeds, and I love them all. With that said, I would like to schedule a meet-and-greet before booking any services to establish a level of comfort between myself and the dog. I’ll ask for a general overview of your pet’s usual schedule and if you have any special requests. If your pooch will be staying in my home, I’ll ask that they are current on their vaccinations.
A typical day
We live in a beautiful neighborhood with a large pond and a great walking trail, so your pup will enjoy twice daily walks. They’ll also have access to my backyard every couple of hours. I’m able to accommodate dogs who sleep in crates as well as those who sleep in their own beds. Your pooch can even sleep in our bed if that’s what they’re used to! I’ll be home with our four-legged guests, so your pet won’t need to be crated for hours on end. I am committed to providing a high level of care to each client and canine, and I offer a safe and structured environment. I’m sensitive to sudden changes in demeanor or behavior and will quickly correct my approach as needed. I’m easy to reach by phone, text, and email, so feel free to get a hold of me at any time.

Pet care experience
I’m Laura. My love of animals, particularly dogs and horses, started at a very young age. My pet care experience began when I started volunteering at local animal shelters and pet sat for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens and more while they were away. I have worked with pets of many different species, breeds, ages, and temperaments. I am currently pursuing several certifications and training programs in animal care. When it comes to pet care, I’m very confident in my experience and knowledge. I have owned dogs my entire life. I currently have a 6 year old dog, appropriately named "Cookie Monster" who was a foster fail. What was meant to be a 7 day stay turned into his forever home. I’ve always been someone that people turn to when they need someone to care for their animals. This made the decision to pursue pet sitting an easy one. I lead with love and compassion, and I care for each dog as if they are my own.
