I am a lifelong animal lover who will care about and adore your pets as if they are my own. I have lived with dogs and cats, plus the occasional fish, bird, or Guinea pig, since I was born, so I’ve been taking care of them since I was a small child. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets and keep them safe, as well as to provide oral medications and keep skittish, anxious, or previously traumatized pets calm during storms, fireworks, or separation anxiety.

I have a great deal of experience house-sitting and caring for the pets of the house while doing so. Other than needing to keep the space fragrance-free, I will be happy to take care of your home and pets as close to exactly how you would as I can. I have a small SUV, so I can take dogs to parks if desired, but even if it’s not, I will be delighted to walk them around your neighborhood or play with them in your yard.

Laura was absolutely amazing! Hades is obsessed with her because she really focused on him and made him feel safe so he could be his most playful self - I could tell by all the photos she sent me daily, all with the cutest dog smiles! I don’t think I’ve had a sitter yet that cared for Hades like I do, until Laura! She understood Hades and his needs, and mine too. I couldn’t be happier with the level of care she gave both of us while I was away.
Laura was VERY patient with Cookie - who takes about a day to get used to a new sitter. She sent photos and gave us timely updates. I highly recommend her!
Laura is wonderful. I feel confident leaving my pup in her care. She keeps me up to date with pictures and any happenings while I’m gone. The best compliment I can give is that when I leave Zoey with her I am completely at ease that she is loved and well cared for while I’m away.
Laura was wonderful with Luna! She stayed at our home for four nights and took great care of her. She sent photos every day which I looked forward to, and Luna looked happy and completely at ease in every single one. When I got home, Luna was calm and relaxed, always the best sign that a dog has been well cared for. Laura also left the house nice and clean, changing the bedding and tidying up Luna’s things before I returned. That kind of thoughtfulness goes beyond what’s expected and it meant a lot. I’ll be booking Laura again and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely cares.

Schedule
My other job is massage therapy, which I do in-home on a variable schedule, so I am very flexible and often available for overnights as well as shorter visits.
