This was our 1st time using a baby sitter for our 1 yr old Maltese mix “Ivey” and we were very nervous about it! We needed a sitter for 6 days... even more nervous! We met Laura and her sweet lab “Riley” for a meet and greet..all nervousness went out the window and throughout Iveys stay, she sent pics and updates.. sometimes two a day which we LOVED! She made Ivey feel as tho ...

Laura was amazing with our 2 month old Lab puppy! She sent lots of updates and pics and treated him like her own. I highly recommend her! If we are ever in Texas again, she’s our go to sitter.

DOGS ARE FAMILY!

We grew up with dogs and no home is complete without at least one dog! We have experience owning and caring for high-maintenance puppies, mature arthritic dogs, tiny Yorkies, large Labs that shed constantly, and lots of dogs in between. We believe that dogs are social animals and that feeling like they are part of the family is essential to their happiness. In our house, we treat them like family and keep them inside with ...

What Laura would like to know about your dog

Let us know if your dog needs medication-- We're very comfortable with administering that if needed. We would also like to accommodate your dog's sleeping preferences, so if that's a dog bed, a crate, whatever it may be, let us know. Also, make sure you tell us if there are any food allergies or anything specific we need to look out for. One more thing: Some people do not allow dogs on furniture, so while we do allow our lab on the couch, we will respect your wishes if that's not acceptable in your own home. We certainly do not want to instill habits in your dog that you don't think are good for your home. So just let us know!

When Laura watches your pet

We have a nice neighborhood route where we can walk your dogs regularly. We also live on over 1/3 of an acre with a huge backyard with trees, squirrels, and nice grass where we can let your dogs run and play. We'll throw the ball or frisbee if they like that. We have a large, covered deck that our own dog enjoys spending time on during nice weather. Other than that, your dog or dogs will be inside with us for cuddle time, naps, belly rubs, etc.
