A typical day
When caring for dogs, I love taking them on “sniffari” walks at their own pace. I also enjoy creating enrichment activities, providing mental stimulation, and playing each dog’s favorite games.

Pet care experience
While working in a dog shelter, I cared for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including administering medications. I have also volunteered for the past two years at an animal shelter, assisting with the care, handling, and enrichment of both dogs and cats. I currently work as a dog groomer, where I continue to build hands-on experience in animal care, behavior, and handling while prioritizing each dog’s comfort and well-being.

Laura is an incredibly caring and capable animal lover. I have dogs and cats and she is great with both. Particularly, I have a VERY anxious dog who was adopted from the humane society and rescued from the Korean meet markets. It takes her quite a long time to warm up to people(months). Laura was patient and gentle and was able to win her over in no time! She was quickly able to do all the things needed to care for my "problem child" and all of my pets. She is trustworthy and very dependable. She clearly loves animals!
Laura has taken care of my dog every time that we go out of town/need a sitter for 6 years. She always stays at our house, ensures that he has fresh food & water at all times, and makes sure that he has fun & is comfortable. She treats our very particular yorkie like a prince, and even sleeps on the couch to snuggle with him! She loves and respects any animal - no matter their size or breed. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!
