I follow their usual routine closely to keep stress levels low, whether that includes naps in their favorite spot, playtime, or quiet time. Communication is also a priority — I send regular updates with photos so pet parents know their furry friend is in good hands. Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality, energy level, and comfort zone. For playful pups, I love organizing fetch sessions, nature walks, or tug-of-war games. For more laid-back pets, I might incorporate gentle brushing, puzzle toys, or enrichment activities that stimulate their mind without overwhelming them. If your pet loves the outdoors, we’ll explore safe trails or have some backyard sniff-and-explore time. If they’re more of a snuggler, we’ll enjoy a cozy movie break on the couch. At Woof Pack Pet Services in Boone, NC, I served as an Enrichment Counselor, Kennel Attendant, and New Hire Trainer, where I led tailored group enrichment sessions to promote dogs' mental well-being, trained new staff in safe and effective animal handling protocols, and developed individualized care plans for dogs with medical or behavioral needs. I have known Laura for several years and she has loved, cared for and treated my dog, Nala, as her own when in her care.
