I love working with animals!
I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a kid, and I’ve always loved it! I’ve walked dogs, played with cats, fed fish, and even helped care for more exotic animals. I also worked at a vet clinic for a year and a half, which gave me extra experience and knowledge about animal behavior, health, and how to notice when something might not be quite right. I truly enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.

I feed my own cat twice a day, but I am happy to follow each owner’s feeding schedule and provide more frequent meals if needed. I always respect an animal’s space if they do not want to be pet or play, while still giving them gentle encouragement and attention if they seem lonely or down. I have also given pet owners updates about their animals, including photos and videos, so they can feel connected and know their pets are doing well while they are away.

Laura helped us with our animals several times when we were out of town. She loves animals and was great with our corgis and our larger dog.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule and am happy to work with you to find times that work best for you and your pet. I usually recommend checking in on pets twice a day for meals, care, and some socialization. However, I am more than willing to check in more often if your pet needs it or if it would give you peace of mind while you’re away.
