*Please! If you contact me through Rover to watch your fur babies, I need to be paid through Rover before I actually start my visit with your pet. I love pets and have owned, loved, and cared for hundreds of them during my life. Animal lover at heart. I have six pets of my own. If you request me to house sit, be advised that I have to go to my home three times a day.

I prefer to pet sit dogs in a fenced in yard if possible, for your pets safety and mine. I know some dogs like walking and can provide a half mile walk with a dog who does not pull.

A typical day
I would take your dog for walks where you recommend as I may not know your area. I would play, talk, walk, and give any treats you allow your pet to have. Feed as instructioned. Keep clean. Please request anything I have missed. No running on leashes, please. I prefer a fenced yard for safety, but I will walk dogs who are secure in collars or harnesses and don't pull.

Pet care experience
I have always loved animals since childhood. I have had many different kinds throughout my life; from pet mice, hamsters, ferrets, and even skunks. Not to mention cats and dogs. 🐾 With my history of being a Registered Veterinary Technician for 10+ years. My love was in the emergency and the Critical Care Unit. I can administer medications properly, including injections for diabetic pets. I also can recognize a medical issue that may need attention. I like to sing to my pets, I make up a song for each pet's personality or whatever rhymes. I have two healthy cats at my home. I have two five-year-old happy dogs. Luciano is going blind and I give him supplements and blueberries to slow down the progression. I also had a senior dog (who has passed) that recently found a guinea pig and now I have her too. We name her Blossom. A client of mine found a pet rabbit in her backyard and called on me to rescue him, which, of course, I did. His name is Chesty. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies. 🐾

Highly recommend Laura H for anyone that needs a caring, attentive, and dependable pet sitter. She provides excellent communication with a lot of pictures, a narrative and helps to keep my sweet 13 year old dog happy. If you have special preferences or needs she has your pet covered. Lots of anxiety leaving my sweet boy for 9 days but they have built a special bond and it was their 2nd adventure together. I returned home to a safe and happy pup. Very thankful we found Laura H!
